Not asking to get anyone to give away there sweet spots .........but does anyone know of any lake that has decent sized perch as in eating size ? I love catching them , but most lakes are full of small ones which although fun to catch doesn't fill the pan

Sorry, a little late for the dance but if you're still looking for lakes, this should help.
East and West Shoal Lakes <-- Lots here
Oak Lake <-- Lots here too
Pelican Lake
Dauphin Lake
Lake Manitoba
Buffalo Bay
Lake of the Prairies
Big Whiteshell Lake
Winnipeg River.

Download the Manitoba Master Angler app (iOS) and search the record book by species. You'll see where all the bigguns are caught.
Or search the Master Angler Record Book on the website: https://anglers.travelmanitoba.com/master_angler_search.asp (https://anglers.travelmanitoba.com/master_angler_search.asp)

I haven't heard of much action over at East and West Shoal lakes anymore. Hopefully I'm wrong but from what I gather those lakes are toast perch wise.

Don lamont wrote an article years ago of a lake that held Jumbo's , have looked his site up but can't find the article .I used to go to Lake Manitoba , but the last time i was there it was dead , moved around etc and not a bite ...sad ! I do fish Buffalo and have caught the occasional jumbo , but the years of all day catching are gone there to . Never been to Falcon , might give it a try .Have caught decent Perch in the whiteshell

I believe that article was about pelican, but again i don't think the perch are there anymore. Caught this good size perch on Lake WPG on the weekend. Pretty sure no one targets therm there tho.
