preping your wood stove for transport?
« on: Sep 21, 2011, 03:51 PM »
i have a portable 6x10 job trailer/ice shack single axle.

had gas heat last year but want to go wood this year.

i will be moving it here and there during the year and was wondering how i can secure my cast iron 4 legged  old style wood stove so when im bouncing around the lake and the ramps it wont fall to peices or bounce around the shack.

only thing i came up with was maybe some metal straps and wrap around and screw into the floor?

any ideas would be appreciated!

How about the fold down flush, eyebolt tiedowns from trailers and a ratchet strap over it and cinch it down tight ?
