Friends and I rented a house on Chaumont for next weekend 22-24. If the ice isn't safe are there any smaller bodies of water near by with the possibility of safe ice. Happy to chase Pike and and Perch all day. thank you in advance.

I’m in the same boat man which is looking like what we would be better off with. Our back up plan is LOTI or goose. I know to launch from DeWolf state park  at LOTI never fished goose though. I’m seeing some ramps on the map down goose bay road but not sure if it’s public or private. Any input?

That is public, I beleive it is owned by the Town of Alexandria. I have launched my boat there. I assume that you can access the ice there as well.

 You can launch at end of goose bay rd. 
Parking a block up rd unless your one of the first 6 trucks to arrive  :tipup:
