Champlain Squires Bay/Fee Fee Point

Anyone have any experience (good, bad, indifferent) fishing Squires specifically around the point?

Really shallow in there and weedy.  Only fished it in the summer.  Pike, bass and panfish.  Walleye cruise through the channel but I haven’t put in much time for them.  Squires is a pain to get to now that they lock up the state park.
