Fished Taft Bay with pimplepounder, and a buddy. We got some nice perch and they got some walleye mixed in. Not bad except that 1 hour rain as stated.
Any word on the 909 siren this morning ?  Hope it's nothing

Got started fishing early this afternoon.....slooow.. .. sluggish fish. Landed I keeper eye and lost 1, 2 small perch, that was it . Called it quits about 5:15 and slogged my way back to shore. Top of ice was firm, with about 1 inch of water.
Flocks and flocks of migrating geese .
Highlight of the day for me was hanging and bs'ing with Fred filet and goonboy Nate out there.  Fred offered  to haul me and my gear all the way back to shore....really nice gesture.
Thanks for that offer Fred, much appreciated....but I wanted to stay and fish a few more hours.

Thanks Fred...not much luck, just a couple of bites . Should have left when you and Nate did and took you up on your offer to haul me back to shore  ... I got soaked and the fish were super tough. After a week away from Oneida I was hoping for better results.

Good luck to you , goon and everyone next time out..... and everyone stay safe with changing conditions.

After riding by the sunken sled Sunday I put the hard water equipment away yesterday. Picked a few crawlers up last night and hit the stream up today. Everyone stay safe out there and good luck.

Thanks Fred.

The water is starting to come up. This rain is not good. Big pools of water on the ice several inches deep.
