Oneida doesn’t behave the same as it’s narrow , I mated on Ontario for years , and have been out in 8+

Bring your boat down with big East or west wind ,  you’ll have loads of fun with those close  knit waves , 😜
Always a fun time in Josh’s surfboard! ( bass boat) 😜
Which we may be putting back in the water soon.....

I know I know. Seneca is the lake I never really feel comfortable on. I’ve been on it in a bass boat then a pontoon on days it turned. No so much fun

I can remember driving from Rochester to Seneca and not putting the boat in on the North end just because someone sneezed at the South end....h2l

Exactly. Lol. I now only fish that lake for one species and won’t go out there on smaller then a 21/22’ deep v. But she can produce.

We were locked with 3-4 inches of dodgy ice last night in North Bay and there's white caps now so there's a lot of it heading west.

Time to start again.

Ah it's just A little punky on the edges, you should be fine with A few planks is all.

But seriously, at this point A reset would be best with these piles of ice everywhere, gonna freeze all punky and whatnot. It is still blowing like A ***** still here today at noon.

:)

If I get big enough planks maybe I can use them as a raft or better yet, a surf board?

I agree, a reshuffle is good.

It looks like a lot of that ice stayed put. The 10 day forecast gets worse every time I look at it.  >:(

Thanks for the awesome intel!!!  I will not be sinking my truck this year at Oneida. Sounds like I may be able to bring the Tracker to troll on one part and icefish another.
If you can't play nice, get off the ice!

I’m currently fishing 3” of ice for brookies in Connecticut.  Hardly any ice over here this year. Too warm.

Hancock fire Dep. organized a large coyote hunt. Protesters gathered 20k signatures against it, and they had to shut it down. Not good press for a Fire Department. We're still going to shoot them anyway.....no ice, so we switch gears is all.
