Hey guys I am already set on getting this suit but wanted to know what online retailers you have used and which you would recommend or stay away from?

It pays to shop around online, lots of competition and prices can vary dramatically.

Also take shipping charges and free shipping offers into consideration.

GCD- those are some of the things I was wondering about along with timely shipout of goods and being easy to deal with if returns are needed for a different size parka or bib.
Tailchaser- They do have flotation built in them to keep someone a float for 2 hours but they are not USCG approved flotation device.

The hard water suit is a floater.  I dealt direct with Shawn at Striker for sizing and if I had a size problem, an easy return.
Fortunately all fit well first go.   I would think their dealers would give the same service.

I got mine 2 weeks ago, bought it through Fish 307. The bib was to big so I called Striker and they were great about the return.

The wife suprised me by ordering one from Korkys for me.  It shipped the same day (she ordered it in the afternoon). I got it on the second day after she ordered it.  From what she said, they were awesome to deal with.

Thanks for the info guys, it seems like most people like korkys and the red rock so I'll check both of them out and probably order it up today or tomorrow.

If you are going to order, I would err on the small side...    I went and tried on some Strikers this morning and it looks like XL is my size in the  Hardwater jacket and bibs and if I were going to get a Climate set I would get XL bibs and a 2XL jacket.  For reference my snowmobile stuff is Klim and I wear 2xl in the bibs and Jacket (and the bibs are a wee bit tight in the beer gut area).  In Carhartt, my Jackets are 2XL and my bibs are 42x30.   Hopefully this helps someone avoid ordering the wrong size.

I think after looking at them in the store, I'm going with the climate bibs and the Hardwater jacket.

Reg its funny you say that! I ordered the jacket XL and the bibs 2XL based on the sizing chart and found out that they must have re-sized the bibs for the the 2012-13 style. Like most everyone has said the suit is amazing, so many sweet pockets and comfortable liners. I'm exchanging the bibs for XL on Monday so hopefully they will have a quick turn around and I can get the use them in the boat before ice up!

1 F, wind chill -14 F  ....   Striker Ice Hardwater is the best.  There was 12" of ice so  I was not worried about trying to float.

I ordered the HardWater, and my suit came yesterday!  I ordered mine from Red Rock, free pair of gloves, free shipping and no NY sales tax.  Before ordering, I called Striker and talked to Shawn, what a great experience!  I wasn't sure on sizing and wanted avoid returns.  Shawn was awesome to talk to, he gave me perfect advice on size, and ordering.  They fit great, can't wait for ice to give them a try.

My Dad bought a Striker Brand Climate Suit in camo, he got it a few weeks ago, looks real nice, much nicer than my AA suit, but much heavier,  he may try it out this week, Lake winnipeg ice thickness is 8-14inches, and were getting some real cold weather this week.
