I ordered the new Striker Ice Hardwater jacket and bibs direct from Striker.  When I receive them I'll post my first impressions and how the sizing went.

I've sent an e-mail today to Shawn ([email protected]) and received "Mail delivery failed". Does somebody know if something wrong with his e-mail address?

That is the address I have used.  Perhaps their server was down.  I would try again.

It's advertising dollars that influence Mr. Stange's decision.

It's advertising dollars that influence Mr. Stange's decision.

Unfotunately there is alot of truth in that statement.  Not saying that the products they promote are not quality,  but it would be interesting if money was not involved to see if the same products would be promoted.  I mean this for all outdoor shows,  both hunting,  and fishing.

Fish Hounds,

I started this topic  .... no offense taken here.   I made my decision and ordered Striker Ice Hardwater.  I will report back on what I think of the product.
I am not a product basher.  I will give my honest opinion.

Arctic Armor and Striker are the only two that make "Floating" suits, correct?

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.

I figured I would post this on here I was wondering who has tried the striker ice lite. I live in Western WI so it gets moderately cold. I say I probably go fishing tell about 0 degrees. I was hoping to get opinions on the suit. Thanks

I have the Striker lite Floating suit, the coldest i wore it out fishing last season was the low teens with a blowing wind.  I didnt have my shack out that day and i was never cold, i mostly had my jacket un zipped the whole day I never got cold.  I would recommend it to any one. ;D

Not correct.
Here in Canada two popular brands (both Department of Transportation Canada approved floatation devices) are Mustang & Helly Hansen.
I have a Helly Hansen Delta II which is quite warm.

Woodsman,

Great suit, warm and safe.  I use the Mustang coat for spring and fall fishing.

Big day today, my Striker Ice Hardwater suit arrived.  The fit is good.  I shortened the legs for my 30" inseam as shown in their video.
Now I have to wait to put the suit to its intended use.    :icefish:

Love my Frabill bibs. Layer as needed for a jacket, but I got a smokin deal on a north face mcmurdo snorkel coat.  Which is to warm most of the time.
If Jim Beam were the sea and I was a duck, I'd swim to the bottom and never come up.
