Another vote for the Guide Gear Bibs. I was sick of wet knees and butt with my Carhart bibs. I have one season on the bibs and they are VERY nice and for only $60 you can't go wrong. Get em' at the sportsmanguide website.

used to wear clam arctic but after my buddy came up with snosuit i gave it to my kid. no comparison ,,,snosuit is the ultimate!!!! i know it costs lots more, fbut you tend to get what you pay for. can sit on ice out of shanty in minus 60 wind chill (-25 actual temp) and not be bothered. kid cant even come close with other suit.

just got them today.idi gear arctic armor suit camo...got home from work put them on and when fishing 34f and 7 to 30 wind ...the bib are the warmist pare i now have...the bibs need more pockets.they don't have hand warming pockets they have two hole to put your hand inside them...don't know if i like that or not.....got some fish smell on them ..going to keep them .parka has lots of pockets. o if you get the free gloves ....tell them what size you want xl gloves not big enough for me...

i use my read head hunting bibs and a remington coat. there is no sense in spending a boat load when you allready have a seat for hunting.

I think the IA bibs and parkas are actually made out of pockets. They're everywhere!

i know what you mean everytime i look i find more pockets. not sure why i would need so many but i am sure over time i will find a use for each one.

Bought a SnoSuit. Love it. I used it snowmobiling yesterday. Had to open up the vents on the coat. This combo is way better than any other I have tried. Is very dual purpose.

I still use my Columbia camo bibs and coat from the early 70's (made in the USA ) and I use it alot, have done some sewing on it in the seams but not that much, have had to put it in the washer and add some more waterproofing to it, but it still beats in workmanship on anything I've seen out there so far. I'm 60yrs old now and I fish everyday and figure I'll die before I wear it out. When I die my wife says she's going to bury me in it !

Some of the best money I've ever spent was for my Canadian Forces Extreme Cold Parka. This parka is extremely warm, built army tough and a bargain at $150 new or $69.99 used from my local surplus store.

I use the Cabela's Gore Tex Guide wear insulated. It's heavy stuff, but I can go out in just sweat pants and a sweatshirt, and with those bibs and jacket on I'm always warm. It's taken me a long time to stop overdressing underneath it. It's waterproof and windproof. It was expensive, but I think it will last me for ten years or more. I've already owned it 3 with no complaints except zippers being a little small.

Cabelas Guide Wear for me as well. I use the uninsulated version, works year round. Time to order a new jacket as my last one was lost after it fell out of my sled
