I like that Bill.  Granted I won't see LG until 23 Feb.  The Lakers get a long break!

That's good Jon, maybe some of us old people can catch some now.

Hey at least you had a better count than Garufi before we hit LG...and your lake is trickier to fish.  Winni this weekend and then lake Ontario.  I'll be missing LG in the meantime.

Colder air starting to move in now, should make the lake sweet.

That's good, we had a hell of a time this weekend.  Going Thursday possibly, will welcome glare ice.

Yes I dealt with a hellish pull Sunday before last.  Every ridge would slush up the otter making it nearly impossible to pull.  I would love to get a weekday trip in but work is too busy.

That tuesday during the storm was one of the worst pulls in ever . Straight slush under my sled and it was like pulling a vehicle !!! Insane

I perch fished.

They didn’t stop biting from 11-4:30. I took home some real slammers.

Fished Huletts today. little bit of slush and 1-2" of water on top of the ice.. lots of drain holes forming funneling the water... easy dragging though... didn't mark many fish.. caught a few dinks and one good one.

Hunting trouts.

There are way more being caught than most know about. Most that catch salmon regularly don’t brag on the internet like those that catch a random one.

Looks like a carbon copy of one I caught Sunday.  Figured it had a full belly.  It did not, just nice and fat.
A bent rod is a good rod!
