Was bored today and took a ride to check out Lake George (the village... never been there) its a nice little place bunch of little shops. Place is probably packed in the summer. Oh and yea no ice on the Lake but you all already know that lol

Sunday night is when the lake is going to start making ice and it won't stop for the next 10 days!

You got that right! I live just 35/40minutes south and love to take the boat there and sometimes just ride up with the wife but dread the busy season. Pretty much a spring and late fall kinda place. Last spring my wife and I stopped through just before peak season on a warm day. The city googans were already starting to show up, saw a guy get arrested after being thrown out of a bar.

50/50. Temps look good but as mentioned above depends on the wind. I'm not a meteorologist, but generally speaking when we get a big shift in weather like the one coming next week, it's usually associated with high winds. After the 2nd or 3rd shot of cold is when winds typically start to die down and ice can be made. But the bays can lock in one night easy, so hard to say. There was a lot more ice in bays last week than people realized.

Last Friday I watched a brave sole in a single man canoe out on the South basin trolling for salmon/lake trout.

The wind was pushing him around pretty well, but he was out there...

That's great news. Hopefully it sticks. We have 15mph+ winds coming for the next 3 days starting tomorrow...that's the issue.

Ice sheet went all the way to long island, water is so cold now just need calm. Think there will be fishing off of MDB by this week end.
