I saw quads out on the ice Sunday. But I did see one get stuck off the point of crown island, the snow is deeper and has some slush in spots out that way.

It's getting better by the day out there.
It's packing and blowing slowly, but surely. I watched a Jeep drive on the spot I fished last weekend and drive north out of sight.
I immediately regretted my decision to leave my truck on shore and walk.  :P
You should be able to get around for the most part if you keep your eyes peeled and navigate around the deepest drifts.

Vets? I was under the impression you couldn't drive down the walk way.

I should have been more specific.
I was not fishing Vets. You can't drive down there with a car unless you have Jersey plates and dads car.  ;D

I saw numerous wheelers on Sunday which for the most part had no problems, and like prchslyr stated, I saw a jeep out there which seemed to handle the snow fine

lol if the jeep is who I think it is, he got it stuck and needed to be pulled out with a wheeler. So don't regret your decision Jamey!

I'm trying to flip the switch to perch for the end of the season. There's a heck of a pile of smoked meat in the freezer, but the perch meat is a little bleak this year.

There's a little hippy in all of us.  :afro:
I graduated with the hippies I'm poking at. For the record.

This is very true here too.
