Should not have made that post now the cat is out of the bag and everyone will be coming looking for Walter!

I hope so... they need to be thinned out.  They're eating all the brown trout!      ;D

Tight lines,
Bob

The walleye stockings have been doing well the past few years, we are starting to see them in several age classes.

(Image removed from quote.)

If your helping with the eyes like you have the salmon, we aught to be able to jig them all over the lake, not just in warner bay!! Keep up the good work.

Walleyes aren't the only thing they've been stocking over the past few years..be on the lookout for some big Seeforellens coming out of the lake in the coming years.

Ah yes, the elusive lake george walleye.  Rather rare but very tasty.  I've had better luck catching the rainbows they stocked a while back.

I can only imagine the thoughts that DEC and all the local bait stores will have when they are asked repetitively, "so when did they start stocking the lake with walleye? ??? :cookoo:

Here we go again... only one problem JJ the hasn't been any white ice on lg that I have seen yet this season. So those had to have been from last season. They must have been biting great today if I recall from last season you had your best day of lg walleye fishing last season during a storm ::)

Anyone with a sled want to drag me to my spot this weekend.

Tell your friends to get out there and make some trails, I'm getting depressed after being able to drag my sled with my pinky.  My legs and shoulders are still burning after last Saturday

It doesn't matter what you use for a leader, the laser beam always cuts right through it

That picture reminds me of when we used to camp up on Lake George. I had a family from NYC ask me if it was ok to swim in the water or did they have to watch out for sharks.  :roflmao:

The Swiss are nice enough to post signs telling you that their waters are shark free.  This from Bern, Switzerland, the Aare River.

Access is fine outside of a foot of new snow on the ice. Laker fishing has been solid for me on all five of my trips ......  only one spectacular day but i have managed double digits every trip. Which doesn't mean anything because lakers are funny fish. I have gone one day and caught 25 and the next day in the same spot gotten skunked!

Live kittens ..... apparently they wouldn't hook them just wrap them up in the line and let them go for a swim. They guy telling me thought it was a true story!
