First one of the year late this afternoon, cut one hole and about 15 minutes later this guy showed up, 25" but skinny, released to be caught again.

anybody hear about a big pike being caught today? My in laws said someone they knew saw it on Facebook, said it was Lake George. I'm not on Facebook so can't look.

A 25 pound pike was caught yesterday but not on LG.

There was a 25 lber caught yesterday out of schroon, haven't heard of any on lg. There's a picture on crossroads facebook page.

I heard I was fishing his holes today... crazy fish glad larry has a nice wall hanger. Great fisherman and a great guy took me out to Ontario a couple yrs ago and showed me the ropes out there.

Larry is a great outdoorsman, he likes big fish don't we all? I believe this is his personal best pike, but he catches some large brookies in the spring too! Barebow......

Larry is a good friend of mine and we fish together often.He is part otter that I am sure of.One hell of a fisherman who has put me on more than one big fish.This is his PB pike and it's a Beauty

I saw the 25# pike fresh out of the hole, and then heard them laughing and re-telling the story for a half hour from my shanty.

It was between the north and south end of schroon.

Thank god Lake George is finally freezing up.
I feel bad for the guys that fish Schroon on the regular now.
Hopefully the bays of LG help disperse the crowd a bit this weekend. I had a little fun on Schroon this year, but can't wait to get on top of some LG perch!
