Yup, Bixby road in Bolton landing. When you walk out on the lake to the left is Bolton bay. To the right is Huddle bay. Straight out in front of you is Dome Island, which is a long walk. Not sure how much ice is out near Dome, but Huddle and Bolton bays are good to go. I`ve caught a lot of perch, lakers, and northerns in Bolton bay.

Went out on huddle bay today the ice was about 8". Caught a bunch of perch jigging and on tipups. Caught 6 pickerel that were about around 22" if we had bigger bait I'm sure we could have caught pike as we'll. we only had perch bait tho.

I looked up bixby road but it looks like a little side road with a couple houses on it and it doesn't look like you can access the lake from there from what I can see but is it?

FYI middle of the lake as far north as friends point is 4-5 inches solid. North of that, As far as i can see,  it is like this all the way to rogers.. looks solid all around.. perch were plentiful but small, and no lakers found.

Slow day for us near Vets, 6 lakers between 4 of us, we were limited and locked down due to the wind and blowing snow. Looking forward to a warmer sunny day!

Hey, anybody lose half  of a ceiling crossbar support for a two man portable (shapell, frabil style)?  Found at Vets, 6th parking spot to the right of the entrance trail, front row.
Very slow windy day!
I'd rather be fishing...

Anyone by chance find a military pack shovel on their voyage in or out of harris bay Monday till today?  My daughter was playing with it and I think it got left behind. I just hiked out there in the dark and kicked around where I thought she would have left it..no dice. Please n thanks.
