We lost everyone from the RI board! All 3 of us!
CT has gone quiet too, I think everyone is depressed about this damn warm weather, and we are too stubborn to drive 4 hours north.
Theres absolutely nothing in south end of state, Wardens, Barbers, silver spring etc got partial skim past couple mornings which quickly recedes when suns overhead
Depressed, yes. Stubborn to drive, not at all. However, I am not driving 3 or 4 hours one way with a 2 year old just to fish 2 hours if he gets sick of it. I love ice fishing more than any other sport but I still have limits and I am patiently waiting as the season is still young. If we start nearing the end of the season and the local waters are still unsafe, the baby sitting card will be pulled and who knows where I will end up for ice.
Looking like more rain on Saturday. I was hoping to drive north for some ice but the rain may keep me at bay.
