Title: Tiber report
Post by: Gusher on Feb 12, 2005, 03:03 AM
Ice south of Lothair is still very good, with only a few thin spots along the shores so be aware.  I've been down the last 4 days and the fishing has been fairly slow but still averaged 5-6 pounds of fish a day.  I have seen several 10+ pound northerns and some very decient walleye taken.  Remember to watch for spots of thin ice near the shore.  The ice out a ways is still 12-15" thick.  Happy fishing and let's see some more fishing posts no matter how unimportent it seems.

Fished Tiber over the three da weekend.  Got 4 Walleye at Miller's & the perch were going nuts at Willow Creek.  Had a blast.  The ice was good, froze even at the edges.  Open water was out a ways.
