Flyshack is good. Flys are cheap and good quality.

X's 2. She's got a great selection. And be sure to check out the clearance section in the back.

I've got a fly shop in my spare bedroom. At least it looks like a fly shop. There's certainly enough flies, materials, tools, rods, reels and lines to equip a fly shop :-\

The TMA is open from hogsback dam (right near me) downstream 21 miles to the 177 bridge in Unionville CT.  Catch and release the entire way until the opener.

And now you need to purchase a trout stamp from our great state. Regulation became effective 3/9/18.

Trapper. Fat Nancy's for fly fishing stuff? I've never known for them to carry any. Whitaker's is a good spot though.

CT's deficit is also very large.  I did happen to notice our Tax Collector...er I mean EPO was checking everyone for the newly minted trout stamp yesterday...when normally he is absent from the area he was checking.  Makes one wonder what the intent is.

If you do not get a reply here about their podcast, give the Troutfitter fly shop a call at 315-446-2047. They are open all year, 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday......
or you can ask them via e-mail ,  on their website under "get a hold of us". They would be more than happy to answer any question you may have by phone or e-mail.
