I wouldn't rule out jiffy or strikemaster yet, they all make a quality product and they all have their pros and cons. My biggest beef with eskimos is the serrated hole and how hard it is to redrill old holes. There is enough support and parts out there that you can't really go wrong with any brand right now, the only thing Ive done to my Jiffy in 11 years is a carb kit and it cost me 4$ and took about 15 minutes. Go out with some buddies and try and few different machines and see what you like.
New to the club Picked up my Eskimo this past Monday.

Fellow Eskimo owners, this is what sometimes happens when you love your 'Mo SOOO much, you sleep with it, inhaling those delicious 2 cycle fumes all night. However, extended inhalation of fumes and lack of human interaction can result in loud screams as above. The price we pay for owning an Eskimo....
