7" and 8" Mora ice augers

  I am sure this is on here some where.  But will 7" Mora blades fit on a 8" Mora auger - and work?  The 8" blades stick out past the 8" Mora flighting so was wondering about it. The 8" Mora auger I have is older and it has the screw together handle, not the wing screw with hole.

Yep, I believe the 8” Auger’s are the 7” flighting with the larger 8” blades

They both have the same bolt pattern. For what it's worth the 7" is actually  7.5" real diameter

Yes that is true and has been for a lot of years. I had a Mora and used both 7 and 8" blades on it.

I run a ryobi on my 7" and it flies through ice. You won't be disappointed
