« on: Nov 23, 2018, 12:02 PM »
Is there any good lakes in Kent County to go ice fishing for pan fish and bluegills, walleye, pike, ore just good ice fishing. My sun move d down there and I'd like to take my grand daughters out fishing.

Kent County is rather large, north to south.  Do some research on Reed’s Lake, in EGR.  Lots of different species to target, walking in from the park is fairly easy.  Plus, you can eat at Roses.

I haven't fished there but I've also heard Reeds is a pretty decent lake, good luck.

Last year was a slower one for Reeds the crappies never setup on the tube. The gills are decent size if you can find them and keep the little perch off your bait.

Reeds takes a long time to have safe ice because it's a large body of water and it's in the city .  Try the Northeast part of the county , it has a lot of lakes big and small .
