Hand held GPS

Does anyone have any input on a hand held GPS unit for ice fishing.

I use hand held GPS recivers for hunting.........Wouldn't be that usefull for ice fishing .......you could make waypoints on the lake for productive spots,but it my experience productive spots may not be productive a week later.
