Spend a bit more and buy the Yukon Thermal. Ive had mine for years now and love it.
A good day fishing inst complete unless it's spent with family or friends.

The Miss and I fish out of a nanook when we want to sit and fish together. I love it. She loves it. I'm 6'2" and I have plenty of room to stretch.

Just something think about: we also have a jet sled and Clam Bigfoot XL4000t. We'll set that up, and then we can get.out and walk around/hole hop. If you want a 2 person set up,  you could apply the same concept with a Clam Vista.

I was just in the same boat as you. I was looking for a smaller one man.  Ended up getting an otter. I didn't look at the larger one mans and I have to agree with who ever said the clam thermal. I was really close to getting the x1. Clams thermal shanties are really nice. I would also think about the otter lodge.

Thanks guys, but I'm on a $200 budget and have a choice between the Nanook and guide.    Just not sure if there's a real big difference in the two.

I don't know the guide but I love my 3yo nanook for fishing alone. It's light and easy to drag and the seats, in the old ones at least, go flat so I can sit on one and have the other one flat next to me as a work table. Lots of fishing area too, but a very shallow tub so you can't fit anything too tall in it.

Hope this helps.

I bought a used guide in the spring, I haven't had a chance to use it yet (no ice ). Can't say anything bad about it I guess. Sorry I could't help more!
