Wished for fishable ice, and Santa brought 50+F and rain! Add that to the high winds we are expecting tonight and all the lakes will be starting ice from scratch around here...

Somebody does not want me ice fishing.

If my wife paid you to wish for warm weather and I find you, you will have some explaining to do!!

All I wanted for Xmass was below freezing temps and the opposite happened!Baaah Humbug!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully the weather will change for the better in the New Year,lets keep our fingers and toes crossed.

Maybe someone didn’t sit on Santa’s knee or someone else did :o In that case we would know whom to pin the lack of ice on  ;D

I live on clear lake and we had fishable ice......3" and clear and hard.  This am went on a little cruise around on the wheeler and the ice was all gone......almost the entire lake.  This sucks.  Oh well, guess now I'll have the motivation to service the vehicles and start a job in the shop.....

I did two ice dances...and had some Evan Williams honey! Should be 5" thick by Monday!

ice  would  be  nice  but   you have  to  dance  with  the  one  you brought  ......  lot's  of  open water  fishing  to  be  done  right  now  along  with bunny  and  squirrel hunting  , what  ever  you  choose  , get out side  :)
