That'd definitely be nice, but I won't get my hope too high. We're getting pretty late into the year for a second round freeze up down here. I still don't have the gear stored away just yet, though.

It can happen, but it's been probably 5-6 years since the last time it did. We got a really late cold blow that had a few mornings in early March just below zero for a few days of second round fishable ice. It melted off super quick once the cold front moved out, though.

I feel like if you haven't been ice fishing by now, you aren't going to be ice fishing this year. Not to be the debbie downer, but It's already mid February. By late February the seasons already winding down on a good year.

Planning on a month or more here ten day looks good enough to freeze up sloppy access points. Some rain and a bit of heat and it'll be over quick tho, time will tell
