Fish hole bait bucket?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a bait bucket or mesh bag for minnows that I can put down one of my ice holes inside my shack.  So far I've found 2, any other ones?  I found the Lindy Bait Tamer on numerous sites but can't find accurate dimensions to save my life.

I looked at the Clam Live Well too but that is intended for fish, not really minnows. I don't care for the zipper down the side.

May be another option...may not stay in the hole, but you can refresh water pretty quickly.

Timmer, this help? It is the full 9 inches, there’s a stiff styrofoam circle of foam at the top. On ice it’s not going to get full of crud.

6 inch piece of PVC then a cap on one end with holes drilled through it and the other end a cap with a screw in lid with a eye bolt through it. Hook a rope on the eye bolt for retrieval and good to go, or a metal bucket insert works great for me, just the top can freeze and makes for a pain at times when outside of shack, they fit great in a 9 inch hole.

Just measure, or Google the OD of a 6" ABS pipe, or downsize to a 4"

This is pretty neat. I do basically the same thing with those torpedo shaped Bait King buckets with a 1/4 inch steel rod thru it. I always float my minnows off the bottom when I leave.

I’ll measure it tomorrow but it does go down an 8 inch hole.
