Boot Dryer/Glove Recommendations

Looking for recommendations on a boot/glove dryer with a minimum of 4 "ports" but would prefer 6.  Like to do two p[airs of boots and one pair of gloves at the same time, or various combinations.  I've had the two place Peet dryers for many years and they are on their last leg.

Mine just says DryGuy  Force Dry DX.  It's a four port.  Primarily two boot and two extra.  Had it for a few years now.  I just turn the dial a little bit and it's auto timed off.  Gets the job done, no complaints.  Fairly low noise too.

I made my own  out of an old blow dryer  & p.v.c. pipe. 2 hrs& 4 pair boots dry as a bone, adding  a timer would be a good idea.

My first time on the forum, hello!

I use two units from dry guy I got for Xmas. One is the solid four outlet force dx, it comes ready to do a pair of boots and pair of gloves. I received the add on boot tubes that slip over the glove drier so I can do two pairs of boots at once.

When I need more capacity I use the folding dry guy for shorter boots, shoes, and gloves. I also got that one for Christmas lol, my family knows enjoy being outside alot in the winter plus working snow removal.

The larger unit has a heat switch and dries rather quickly. The smaller one holds its own against the larger one being not far behind in time. Most likely because it’s only using its CFM and heat  on one pair at a time.

There is more expensive units sure, but I’ve been happy with these for 2+ years without issue.

Peet. Don’t bother with anything else or anything with a timer. My peet has been on for 12 years straight.

FWIW, my nearly 13 year old Peet M07 (four port - fan heater, date code of "2011/5") is still going strong.  Peet was an Intertek company back then, not sure if that is still the case.  I use it year-round in WI and it has survived multiple snowmobile trips.

I would consider acquiring a boot tray mat.  I have a couple Iron Gate - Heavy Duty Big Foot Boot Tray Door Mat 16x32; the M07 fits nicely on them.

I would also recommend the Peet dryer. Best bang for yer buck in terms of longevity and performance.

I got a Maxx Dry XL, it wasn't expensive but it works amazing for both gloves and boots simultaneously. I've had it for many years and it still works great.

I still have a PEET dryer I got in the 80's. It is for 1 pair, but is quiet and should last forever. I also have a smaller foldup that has a fan and does a pair of boots and gloves, but it has no brand. We usually put boots on the floor in front of the refrigerator, and the air coming out of there dries them overnight. If you want something with capacity for many pairs, I think you are stuck making something, but that would be a fun project actually.
