There are some AWESOME walleye lakes near Columbia Falls... :o

The problem is, NONE of them have any walleyes IN them >:(

That is to say, there are no walleye lakes in NW MT, unless you count Noxon...

Now lakers...yessir, we have lakers.  Flathead Lake, Echo Lake, Tally Lake, Upper/Lower Stillwater, MacGregor, Lake McDonald in Glacier Park...The Mac Days tournament starts March 11th and runs 11 weekends...they PAY you to catch lakers

www.macdays.com

and if you want to take a guided trip on flathead for lakers...well, I know a guy ::)
If I\'m not fishing, I\'m probably thinking about fishing...And if I\'m thinking about fishing, I\'m probably not getting much else done so, I might as well go fishing...Yeah, I just said that!

Yup! And I will tell you where once I'm in the ARGO!!! ;D

Somers bay can be good for pike, AND lakers.  Others that come to mind are any of the river sloughs, and other lakes I mentioned for lakers.  Oh and swan lake for Lakers, Bull Trout and pike.  You are heading to fish-a-topia Mr. Dan.

LOL yeah I just found that same thing when I tried to go there. I'd never heard of it before. I don't have a boat other than a canoe and a cataraft so I'll only be able to do ice and shore fishing but I'll give it a go for sure. There is a guy who advertises for charters on a big sign in Lakeside I forget the name of the charter though right off hand, is that you PerchAssau?

Dan, we'll hit Stillwater for the pike, Flathead Lake and River for Mac and Pike.  Burbot and walleye we can get over at Hauser and Canyon Ferry.  Those 2 are a little further out but we can make a 2 day deal out of it.  I got tents cause I know you like them.  I really want to fish Lake McDonald too, that is one I haven't fished in a while.

I'll buy the Perch Assault entry today at Snappy's.

See ya when ya get here.  Drive careful!
wish you many hook-ups

Maybe we can get PA to fish with us, if we ride him around in the Argo ?
