Patching my fish trap
« on: Jan 15, 2004, 09:08 AM »
I've had my fish trap for several years now and the material is starting to wear thin where it rubs against the metal bars. To get a couple more years out of the cover I ironed on patching material on the inside of the cover and also over a couple of small holes and tears I had. Hope this idea helps a couple of you guys stay covered this year. Another hit I have is to remove your cover at the end of the season and store it indoors. That way you don't have to worry about what the summer heat will do to it or mice(or kids) doing anything to it.
