Lots of snow out there on the ice. After it locked up we got a bunch of snow. Not ideal conditions.
It'll eat.

I prefer a 2oz sinker for perch...when it hits 'em they won't feel a thing

nykon  you have  to  really  work  on one  but I know  2  people that  caught and released   tigers  last year

I have  caught a  lot  of  pike  in that lake  surprizes  me  no one  fishes  for them  anymore  and  I  still  do  well on crappies   why  people  don't  fish  for then  is  fear  of the  dreaded  blue  algae  and   that you can  no longer  sell them ..... was  some  huge  white  perch in there  too

They need to let us piss pound that lake and keep whatever and however many crappie we want for a couple years. Overpopulated stunted fish in there. As far as blue green algae goes who cares. You see the same on Oneida. Even some of the fingerlakes have a blue green algae bloom.
It'll eat.

Do any of you actually keep and eat the fish out of there?

I have. Haven fished it much last three years because of stunted fish growth due to the lack of harvest from anglers
It'll eat.

havent fished there in almost 20 years.use to catch some nice crappie outta there.. did well in the morning for them and then the place would shut down till dinner time. head out to the deep hole..
nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.

Had a good 8-10 inches of ice with 6 inches of snow on top. Caught two dinks in an hour didn’t have time to do more. Was expecting more merkyer water but I guess the dredging is doing something.
