Made some progress the last few days.  Almost have the outside wrapped up with the corner trim left to do.  The wife and daughter have been staining, and the fire place is set.  I took a picture of Denali on the flight back home from work the other day, figured I would post it with the other pictures.

We need some cold weather.  The small ponds are froze over, but no ice on Louise.

Finished the outside trim and soffit, so the outside is pretty much done except for the hitch.  I picked up a sweet sheet of maple plywood for the counter top and table.  The counter top is done and the oven fits great.  Need to put the poly to it.

Very nice work, well built.  Love the fireplace and the stained rafters.  The wide hollow skids are a great idea, I see you have put an extreme amount of thought and planning into your shanty and it shows with your fine work as well. Enjoy!

Thanks! I don't think there is a way to account for the time and thought I have put into this one.  I drive just about everyone at work crazy talking about the shack and when I get home I drive my wife crazy.  I told her the other day we will have a lot of fun in this shack if she is able to stick with me through it all.  I plumbed the gas in and ran the fire place for a test run.  Decided to cut down a spruce and trim the fire place with it and I think it looks awesome.  The wife wanted the trim darker, so we stained it darker and I think she was right...I even told her so ;D  I think I will trim the windows with live spruce as well.  I stained the maple plywood natural and it came out great.  I used it for the counter top, above fire place and table.  Here are a few more pictures.

I got the beds framed up, made them high enough so coolers action packers ext. will fit under them and out of the way.  The top bunks are low, so their will be plenty of room to move around and the kids can sit up watch movies.  I put the top bunks on hinges so the lower bunks will have more head room when the top bunks are not being used.  I decided to continue with the live spruce trim and did the windows and will do the bunk beds as well.  It takes a lot of time, but I think it is worth it.  I started framing the booth for the table and bought the bar top for the counter top and table and will be putting that on tomorrow.

The wife put the bar topper on the counter and table and I built the both for the table area.  I routed the big hole which is 2'x3' and need to build a box type deal around it for the kids safety.  I think the kids will love watching fish swim under the shack, that is why I made such a big hole.

We need some cold weather for sure.  The lake is usually ready by thanksgiving, but not so sure this year.  We are getting some snow today ;)

Your propane setup looks great! But as a propane technician you should add a sediment trap to your manifold. There are particulates that will come out of your tanks and piping and go into your heaters, cook stove, etc. basically you would just add a 3 1/2" nipple and cap to the bottom of you manifold.
