Floor for Clam
« on: Feb 12, 2005, 01:40 PM »
I picked up an older Clam portable house (a 4 holer) from the trash a few years ago.  All of the poles and the cnavas were in good shape.  I had all of the seams redone at a shoe repair ($20), but the floor needs some work.  The previous owen had used plywood underlayment, but that had of course rotted out.  I was thinking of using plastic paneling (the kind used for bath tubs) and then putting some non-slip tape on the floor.  Will this work? or is there a better way.  The house has 4 "holes" (two sets of two squares at oppsite sides) and a ribbed floor.  I am looking to keep the totoal cost and weight as low as possible.  Thanks for the help.
