My friend took apart his Big Buddy Heater after it failed to work on high ....its an 8 yr old model and runs quite regularly from mid October til early April....( thanks to some the old posts on IS concerning the cleaning procedure/recommendations ) ....upon reassembly of the control valve its fails to move properly/not at all ...I wasn't there during disassembly so I'm not sure HOW it goes back together ...any one ever tackle this problem .... . I believe it has 4 parts the main valve assembly ...a brass insert piece ..the brass control "switch/knob/plunger..and top cover/assembly . Thanks for any help.
