Pawcatuck River
« on: Jan 29, 2021, 07:23 PM »
Has anyone ever caught a Northern Pike in the Pawcatuck River? With any regularity? I heard about the flood in 2010 rumored to have dumped pike in the river. planning to float the River in the spring. Not looking for specifics just if anyone knows if there’s a decent population in there.

the lowest I have ever caught pike in the  Pawcatuck is lower falls in Shannock  very rare usually while Bass fishing biggest on was 11 lbs back in 2008 smaller ones with a little more frequency and usually when Bass fishing with shiners in open water because this end of the river has never seen fishable ice that I can remember in 65 years  good luck
