I am just wondering what bait shops will be open this season. i hope covid hasn’t caused some not to open. let’s all pray for a long season

My last resort is Runnings in Putnam bought Bait there yesterday. Bob's in Ballouville CT is open if you need to go out of State. The 2 I use up here is Teds and Big Bear have not checked either this season yet. Fishing Today... nothing yet.

As of this past Sunday Big Bear had no shinners.  Maybe Quaker State bait on Rt 2?  :tipup: :tipup: :tipup:

Pete's in Woonsocket has shiners...u have to call about 10-15 minutes before you arrive as it is un-maned

I was told last week that Runnings gets their bait on Friday. Great prices if you can’t trap your own.

I called Runnings at 6 tonight no bait till Friday. I’m going to Webster in morning to Hillside.

Creatures Plus pet store in North Smithfield usuallly has shiners. I think they are 7 or $8 a dozen. They didn't sort them but they were all around med/heavy.

Took a ride to big bear today they are all up and running, $12 a dozen for heavys, $8 a dozen for mediums. Sorry if this has already been posted.

Runnings in Putnam got Bait about 5pm small med large shiners, crawler, Mealies and trout worms. No waxies. I've had great luck with their bait still have some from last week I'll fish tomorrow.

As of Thursday am Sandy Bottom in Coventry did not have shiners, Quaker Lane did and also had suckers.

I think 8-9 call ahead he don’t get in there too early anymore
