How do you tie wire leaders to a plain hook?

If you're tying single strand leader wire to your hook then the haywire bend is the preferred method. If you're using a 7 strand wire than crimp on sleeves are the way to go. There is some titanium wire on the market that can tied as you would with mono, but unless you are familiar with this I would stay away from it. The knots used for this type of wire can fail if not done correctly.

Tyger or COrtland's Toothy Critter are both tieable leader material.  I've had good luck with the knots they specify.  If using sevenstrand, the proper size crimp is the only way to go.
