What time do you open in the morning...i may or may not be able to fish tomorrow? Also, i'm not totally familiar with the new bait laws. Is your bait okay for Waterbury res.?

RidgeRunner2:
Ridge Runner Bait Shop on Route 12 in Putnamville carries live bait certified to be sold statewide in Vermont.  We do not buy live bait, however.  The transportation slips are good for 10 days.  You can opt for just the West zone, just the East zone  or each individual Blacklisted bodies of water. There are some weekend fishing derbys going on this time of year.  Get out and enjoy!

RidgeRunner2:
The ice is getting better and better here in central Vermont.  We are open early and open late just give us a call 802-229-4246.  We still have live bait (golden shiners) from perch bait to pike bait.  We carry crawlers, trout worms and dillies as well as jigging poles and Heritage Tip Ups and some HT Explorer Tip Ups all rigged and ready to fish.  Be sure to check the ice before you venture out.  Stream inlets and springs may cause thinner ice than the surrounding areas.  Be safe out there and enjoy fishing!
