I recently purchased my first ice shelter, a quickfish 3. The bag it came with sucks. It is almost impossible to get the shelter back in the bag at the end of a day. Does anyone have a bag they recommend to store their hub style shelter? One that is extra large so it is easy to put it in the bag and take it out. I don't use the shoulder straps, so it doesn't need to have those.
Thanks

I bought a pair of cinch straps to put on mine to help collapse it enough to fit in. Most of the time i dont put it in the bag until ive had time to let it dry in my basement tho

I should have added to my post, I put the shelter up in my garage after each use to dry. I am looking more for a storage bag for between trips and in the off season.

I have a fatfish 747. It comes out of the bag when the ice hits and goes back in at ice out. Between those times I use cinch straps or bungie cords to keep it on the sled. It rides in the trunk without anything holding it. The bag is useless and it will never go in right if the fabric freezes at all (e.g. around the skirt).
Why do you feel you need a bag?

Dont bag mine up on ice ..use a twist tie ..some Christmas tree bags are pretty big ..I think I may add a zipper to my bag and/or get an Xmas bag.

Maybe even a mattress bag ..for off season storage.

Off season mine gets stored in the bag it came with. I dry it out nice, fold it tight and in the bag. Use the Velcro straps and pull them tight.
I zip tie the opening to prevent rodents from entering

Nothing will keep those danged things out except a varmint rifle! I've seen 'em playing bocci ball with mothballs!
