ice is done on Deep Creek for now

The ice is done on Deep Creek before it got much of a start. It was reported that a icefisherman went through on January 25, 2012. Glad to report that he made out. I still have hope for safe ice but it aint look'in good.

yes, the ice is gone. my sister in-law won a get away trip to D.C. and my wife and i are sitting in a beautiful lodge at this moment overlooking cherry creek cove no ice. also drove around the entire lake, no fishable ice.
