Best day so far this year.

Had a good day today. Fished from 7-4, caught a bunch of pike. Most in the  mid 20". Four over 30" and my wife got her first 40" pike.

She was pumped, and I don't blame her!

Looks right to me. A 40" fish is 3 feet and 4 inches. The fish goes from her neck to knees. Add a foot for her head and a foot for her knee to feet. A woman who stands 5'4" tall isn't an abnormality. Fish looks pretty beefy. I vote very nice fish.

Did you weigh it?  A 40" fish should be 15 to 16 pounds.
