Just to clarify for myself, Laphams bay is down at the southern end of the lake, correct? lapans bay is up north around the corner form hathaways.

i think he is talking about the bay in the bridport vt area.

from what i hear the water is murky there now. i have not fished there much but guess it would be good for pike it is usually weedy there.

Very shallow and weedy for the most part. Head for the point at the southern end of the bay, toward the red can in the channel. Find 8-12 FOW off the point and commence fishing.  Set some in deeper water too, and along the mouth of the bay.  Never know what you might catch. I have caught pike there. Not so much in the bay itself. PM me and tell me how you do. Good luck!
