They were not driving out when I went through there on Saturday.  Looked there might have been a couple of trucks on the ice on the east side of the bay, off Georgia shore road north of Mill River.  We had ~13" of ice on the west side of Hathaway's.

Was out 2 weekends ago at the Hathaway point boat launch, 8 inches of ice and caught 8 perch in a half hour

Off the west side, it was spotty.  Some holes were good and others, not very far away, didn't have a fish in them.  Had to work to find them.

The ice at shore was pushed way up, no way to get on from the state ramp... town beach had people driving on and heading to the southeast end of the bay. We got on on the west side of kilcare with atv and shanty no problem, but there are pressure ridges that segment things, from the west side you cant cross to the east  due to ridge from kilcare out to at least Ball, another ridge runs across the bay itself around where one normally forms and goes all the way over from the looks. Another ridge from the north side of lapan out to woods, and from woods back to ball or burton.

So do you know if it is possible to cross to the Georgia Municipal Launch from the Killcare launch? doesn't sound like it.... Thanks for the report.
Load it, Drive it, Park it
Bait it, Jig it, Hook it
Catch it, Clean it, Cook it
Simply put just get out/ and do it

on foot? yes... in a vehicle unlikely... the kilcare boat launch was pushed up, and not plowed. access on other side on the little beach was fine, but cant get through islands due to ridges, although I guess you could cross the island on land? and I am not 100% sure which way the crack across the bay runs once past rock island area... with an ATV and a couple boards, and a BFH you could probably due it... but the ice pushed up is 6-8 inch thick chunks... so the BFH will need to be a REALLY BFH (Big F***** Hammer).
