Yeah i was up there thursday, caught 10  pike and jigged a couple perch in the morning. Then about noon the wind came and i went out to a flag and my ice house blew all the way to shore. So then i sat in the truck till dark.

My kids and I were there on mon. 1-15. There seemed to be 18-20 inches of good clear ice. We fished the middle pond and caught 22 and lost probably 10 more. There weren't any large fish, 2 to maybe 3 pounds at the largest. All in all it was a great day!! ;D We used smelt just off the bottom. We didn't fish for any perch, but a fellow that did said that he hadn't had any bites.

Went to Arod today and fished the big lake right where it necks down and my friend and I caught 18 and lost about 5 I think. It was crazy, we caught the majority of the fish from 7:30 to 9:30 and then the fish started to shut down and went to nothing by 11:00. The wind started coming out of the east so we left. I have always had bad fishing up there at Arod, Francis, and Tiber whenever the wind blows out of the east. Does anybody out there know why this happens? I'd sure like to know. Anyways, good fishing to all, and to all a good night. ;D ;D ;D

IT DEPENDS ON WHICH SIGN YOU LOOK AT. ALSO I WAS ASKING ON HOW THE FISHING ACTION WAS,NOT HOW TO SPELL THE NAME OF THE LAKE. :o :o :o :o

GameDog was asking where it was and it depends on what map you have as to how it is spelled.  I wasn't being a smartass, I was just trying to be helpful...

Good Fishing

Hey- has anybody been to Arod lake recently? I would like to go up there one more time before the ice gets too bad, but I also don't want to waste a trip either!! Any info would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
