Finally!!! Ice time

Finally got on some ice, by far the earliest for me. High mountain lakes at just under 10,000ft. Nothing but planters but it was fun. 3in of ice. Here's hoping to a nice long ice season

Soon very soon here, some 30 to 50 acre lakes completely frozen over yesterday, I’ll give it another week. But wouldn’t doubt some brave sole trying it sooner.

Sure enough I was driving through Spooner WI today and saw 2 guys and a pop up shelter out on spooner  flowage and they were out in the middle. It’s officially on here.
