Thats impressive. Is the sensitivity adjustable for lite bites verse heavy hits?

There are 3 settings on the final copy

Can set the delay on the first set as well as the delay on the second set

Also sensitivity on the first set.  The second set sensitivity is directly relative to the strike. For example  If the hit is hard the second strike is near immediate.  If it is light the second one Triggers slower and the speed can easily be adjusted

If you think I want $$$ from this you are completely mistaken. I waste more money on toys in a month then this will make in a lifetime haha

did this idea come from missed fish after the strike on other style "steelie slammer"?  does the secondary flex down when fish surges or is it too stiff?  have you tested it on fish yet?

I actually hadn't seen the steelie slammer before.  Looks like it may have been one of the original concepts!

We built this exactly for what you said, missed sets. Obviously our jigging rods out fish out deadsticks so we video taped our action for setting hooks.  When viewing it is surprising how almost all our successful catches had a "double tap"

So several beer, drawings and proto types later we developed our simulator.   It has seen fish successfully however we don't want to launch those videos until it is the final version and we are done with the adjustments/settings.
