I heard the same, didn't know how true it was though.. Also been hearing there's at least 7 inches of good ice on it, but i wouldn't trust it for another month at least.  Then again i don't like driving on the ice even with a foot plus, just paranoid i guess.

I seen it on my way to fish lake tonight, there was about 14" of ice on fish.

Yup  He was there. f150 with a cap. Drove on at the public access and drover clear across lake. Not me, Not yet anyways. Snowmachine, yes.  Some people God watches out for.   Steve
