Hi ,people i'm new here on the forum! I am from Gatineau (Aylmer) I can't wait to get started on the ice!!!

Bonjour, je suis nouveau  sur le forum! Je viens de Gatineau (Aylmer) J'ai hate de commencer sur la glace !!!

I fish where ever i can haha!! I'm just starting off with ice fishing!
Right now i've only been out twice at the cottage, Lac Cayamant. But I would like to get on the river when the Temps go back down!

Welcome aboard , I have fished the Cayamant a long time ago it was open water tought, is the lake trout open in winter on that lake?

My cousin has a cottage near Chenier on lake Ritchot do you that small lake ?

I fish where ever i can haha!! I'm just starting off with ice fishing!
Right now i've only been out twice at the cottage, Lac Cayamant. But I would like to get on the river when the Temps go back down!

Looks like we're getting winter back this week.
Baie MaLaurin and Baie Clement are a few decent spots.
Petrie Island on the Ontario side is another option.

I could not find any lake in the area where there is any Laker open season in the winter.  Too bad

I was out last weekend at Baie Clement!
I was there sunday all day, it wasn't a good day. Maybe due that they had a tourny the day before scared all the fish away! I ended up catching a 3-4lbs Pike.

Thanks, The winds were insane! lol!!!!
but we had the heated shack so it was in and out and back in as long as we could haha!
We only saw one person catch a fish and it was something small!!
ohh well next time it can only be better!!
