Had two planes do touch and goes right next to us on Waukewan yesterday.

Took a couple of guys from Israel out ice fishing, one had never even fished, let alone ice fished.  Great day.  Forgot the sun screen, a little red faced today!

Couldn't see how to attach a video, so here is a link.  Not much of a video, missed the first plane, got the second.

That's cool - unless they run thru your traps!   ::)

Ice looks good - snow on top, no slush.  We were in Greenfield NH area y'day - 4 inch of slush w/ a soft crust on top...very sloppy to trudge thru.

Hope you + your guests caught some fish.   :tipup:

We did catch a bunch of smallies.  And they got to ride a snowmobile.  A great day.  I barely even tried to fish, just focused on them having the best time possible.

Definitely a banner day.  And yes, one of the planes did come close, but not too close to one of my traps that was out away from the group.

Sounds like those boys will have some great stories to tell when they go back to Israel!

Was the other one yellow? Had a pair of planes land and take off out this way before one red and one yellow.

The other plane was white.

Yes the snow was heavy, about 10+ inches.  I think Meredith got at least another 10 last night/today.

This gives a good indication of the snow.  And one of the happy campers!
