$500 Shopping Spree part 2

It's finally that time again... With fishable ice any day now, we are ramping up for this year's tourney..

All you have to do to have a shot at winning the $500 shopping spree is enter a fish in our 7th annual season long, statewide ice tournament   ;D

There are a few changes to the tourney this year. In years past, we have relied on the manufactures to donate gear to the tourney. With the economy the way it is, it has been real tough to drum up enough GOOD prizes to support the event. This year we are forced to charge a minimal entry fee... $10 if you enter before Jan 1, $15 after.
 
This year we again have categories for 4 species. Perch, crappie, trout and bass. There are no minimum length requirements (other than what the state says). There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in each category.  We are still working on prizes, but we are basing the prize structure on 100 entries.

Every time you enter a fish, you get another entry in the Grand Prize drawing. Enter as many fish as you want... The Grand Prize drawing is a $500 shopping spree here at Connecticut Outfitters

Last year I won a 200$ shanty for taking 1st place for the Perch catagory, not bad at all for the 10$ entry fee ;D All of you guys REALLY should enter!!! Although, I may have to win this thing again! ;) And a big thanks to CTO's Blaine and Gary for putting it together!!! Let the icefishing begin! :icefish:

me and my son r in he won 2nd place in the perch he is so ready to go fishing and he's only 6 years old  :icefish:

Just a reminder for those of you heading out this weekend... MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR CAMERA and take the pictures for the tourney! Winning a $500 shopping spree here doesn't get any easier!  ;D

Lots of perch entries coming in. The leader board has been updated. Remember, you DON'T have to be on the leader board to enter a fish for a shot at the shopping spree... EVERY fish entered gets you another entry for the big drawing  ;)

We are finally nailing down the prize structure on the ice tourney... We have nearly $2000 in prizes this year!

Grand Prize drawing: $500 shopping Spree at CTO, See details

4 Categories: 1) Trout, 2) FW Bass/Lg & Sm, 3) Perch and 4) Crappie

4-1st place prizes: “Frabill Shanty” (Either Recon, Refuge, or Commando based on inventory)
4-2nd place prizes: Frabill 8” Auger, or $100 Gift Card
4-3rd Place Prizes: $50 Gift Card
