No matter how  you read it, the waters are cooling down,  got my reels with power pro taped up already, waiting till it gets a lil cooler for the other reels to get spooled with fresh mono for the year.

I'd sure like to Cooley, if we can get some ice this year, LOL.

FTD moved so we'll have to do it without him

Had a light dusting of snow stuck to the ground this morning (11-6) in the Roscommon area.  Went away by 9:00am, but it's a start.

Here we go.....

Novemeber 7th and I'm checking out my favorite ice fishing site......can't wait.  I also like to check out some of the topics from Alaska and other northern areas, I keep thinking that if winter is not really winter around here any more, moving further north might need to be explored.

Hoping for a Michigan winter like the "good old days"...........COLD!

Rock on,

Icer

My little guy (4 yo) can bouncing in this morning at around 06:30 singing "It Snowed! It Snowed!" at the top of his lungs.  Made the mistake of watching the new NatureVision DVD last night while he was up.  He's rip roaring ready to go out in "daddy's tent."  :D

I didn't get a picture of his first fish but I sure do plan on getting the first iced fish.
